Our History
Founded in 2005 with the vision of unlocking the latent value in properties across the Northeast, Luzern has invested in real estate projects totaling 960,065 sf with a total asset value of approximately $252.6 million and total equity raised (including joint venture partners’ equity) of over $89.8 million.
Luzern has extensive experience and strong relationships - built over decades - across all aspects of the redevelopment process. Ours is a history of successfully acquiring assets, executing development plans, and exiting projects during various real estate markets and economic cycles.
Luzern Realty Fund I L.P.
In January 2008 Mr. Campofranco launched Luzern Realty Fund I L.P.
Fund I had a total capitalization of $21.2 million which included the redevelopment of a Class A office building in Wilton Connecticut and the redevelopment of a mixed use residential and retail project located in the Beacon Hill Neighborhood of the City of Boston. The fund closed in 2020.
Luzern Realty Fund II L.P.
Luzern Realty fund II L.P. was formed in 2013 with a total capitalization of $74.6 million.
Investments include two residential condominium projects in Boston Massachusetts, a mixed use property in Westport Connecticut, and a multi-family development in West Roxbury, MA inclusive of preferred equity. The fund closed in 2020 and all investments have been realized.
Luzern Realty Fund III L.P.
Luzern Realty fund III L.P. was formed in 2017 with a current total capitalization of $18 million.
The capital raise has been completed and Fund III is closed to additional investors.
Investments include a multi-family development in West Roxbury, MA inclusive of preferred equity, and a flex industrial property in Marlborbough, MA.
Luzern Realty Fund IV L.P.
Luzern Realty Fund IV L.P. was formed in 2022 and the capital raise has been completed. The current capitalization is $26.3 million. Investments currently include a 170,300 sf industrial development in Windsor, CT; an industrial outdoor storage and vehicle repair facility in Cliffwood, NJ; and 150,000 sf industrial development in Manchester, CT.
